Avery 5160 barcode labels (30-up Letter)

Avery 5160 is the US address-label sheet everyone already has: 1 inch tall, 2.625 inches wide, three columns, ten rows, thirty stickers on 8.5×11. This page opens the designer with that grid locked in — including the 0.5″ top/bottom margins, 0.1875″ side margins, and 0.125″ horizontal gutter the physical sheet uses.

  • Label size 1.000″ × 2.625″, 3 columns × 10 rows on US Letter.
  • Top/bottom margin 0.500″; left/right 0.1875″; horizontal pitch 2.750″.
  • Compatible with Avery 8160 (inkjet) and 18160 — same cut.
  • Tight vertical space: barcode plus one line of title and a SKU is the practical layout.

Sheet & fields

1" × 2.625", 3 × 10 on US Letter. Address / FBA 30-up.

Show on each label

If a whole sheet is shifted on your printer, nudge offset instead of stretching the PDF. Print at 100% scale, never “fit to page.”

Export

No watermark, no page cap. ZIP files use the current sticker size and include every field you turned on (name, SKU, price, custom) — not just the bars.

Add at least one valid barcode to export.

Paper & printer

This export is a Letter/A4 sheet. Have paper (and a laser) ready before you hit print.

The numbers that actually matter for alignment

A 5160 sheet is not “thirty labels centered by eye.” Vertical pitch is exactly 1.000″ with no gap between rows, so a 0.03″ scale error in the print dialog stacks by 0.3″ by the bottom row — enough to print on the liner. Horizontal pitch is 2.750″ (2.625″ label plus a 0.125″ gap). LabelStack’s 5160 preset uses those figures in inches inside jsPDF so the PDF page is 8.5×11, not an A4 guess. If your printer still shifts every label the same way, use the offset sliders in thousandths of an inch rather than “fit to page.”

What fits on a 1-inch label

You have about 0.86″ of printable height after a small pad. That is enough for a scannable Code 128 or UPC-A and one line of 7–8 pt text. Two extra fields (price and a long custom note) will collide. Turn off Price and Custom on this size, or move to Avery 5163 if you need a packing-style block of type.

8160, 18160, and store-brand clones

Avery 8160 is the inkjet twin of 5160. 18160 Easy Peel uses the same rectangle. World-label and office-store “30-up address” sheets are usually the same cut. If a clone lists different side margins, switch to Custom size and type the numbers from the wrapper rather than forcing 5160.

Humidity curls the liner. Fan the pack, store it in the printer room overnight, and do not print the last warped sheets on a job you cannot reprint. Match 5160 to a laser and 8160 to an inkjet. Grey compatible toner is a scan failure. The alignment guide and the laser-vs-inkjet guide are the rest of this story.

Proof the tenth row

A 0.03″ scale error is almost invisible on row one and is 0.30″ on row ten. Always inspect the bottom-right label against a blank liner. Print one page at 100% on Letter, never A4. If the whole block is shifted the same way, use X/Y offset sliders in thousandths of an inch. If only some columns miss, you changed label width — reset the preset.

Questions

FAQ

Why is the last row of my 5160 sheet low?

Almost always the print dialog scaled the PDF. Set paper to Letter, scaling to 100% or “actual size,” and turn off “fit / shrink to printable area.” Then, if needed, apply a uniform Y offset.

Can I print FNSKU codes on 5160?

Yes. It is the most common FBA 30-up size in the US. Open the Amazon FBA or FNSKU landing pages if you want that symbology pre-selected; this page defaults to Code 128 for general SKUs.

Is my inventory/SKU data uploaded anywhere?

No. LabelStack runs entirely in your browser. CSV files, product names, SKUs, FNSKUs, and generated barcodes are parsed, validated, and rendered on your device. Nothing is posted to a server — there is no account and no backend that could store your catalog. You can confirm this in the network panel: generating and exporting never sends your rows anywhere. That is the point of the tool. Sellers who currently paste inventory into hosted generators are handing over supplier lists and Amazon FNSKUs; this site is built so we never see them.

What label sheet sizes are supported?

Presets include Avery 5160 (1" × 2.625", 30-up), Avery 5163 (2" × 4", 10-up), Avery 5167 (0.5" × 1.75", 80-up), plus 5161, 5162, 5164, 8160, Amazon FBA 30-up and 2×3 in, and A4 sizes L7160, L7163, and L7651. Each preset uses the published page size, label size, margins, and gutters so a desktop laser or inkjet lands on the actual sticker grid. If you use a house brand or a European size that is not listed, choose Custom size and enter width, height, columns, rows, and margins in inches. Letter vs A4 is a different page box — read the paper-size guide before printing a US PDF on A4 stock.

Is there a limit on how many barcodes I can generate?

No. There is no row cap, no page cap, and no watermark on PDF or ZIP exports. The only limit is your browser’s memory. Thousands of rows are parsed in chunks so the tab stays responsive; the sheet preview shows one page at a time while export walks the full set. If you generate tens of thousands of labels, leave the tab open until the PDF or ZIP finishes — it still never leaves your machine.

Why is this free?

LabelStack is a client-side tool with no servers to rent for your data. Optional advertisements on the page (never on the PDF, never over the download button) are how the lights stay on once the publisher network accepts the site. There is no paid tier because the product is the browser app: generate, layout, export. If ads are blocked, the generator still works. We also publish original guides because a tool without the print-alignment and symbology context is how people reprint a hundred bad stickers.
